My dad moved into long term care last year, and the facility was celebrating their 50th anniversary a month later. They had a big celebration, and there was a cotton candy machine with pink and blue cotton candy for everyone.
We were all gathered together, enjoying some live music and a BBQ that was going on. Now, I don’t recall my dad ever eating cotton candy before, but he liked it so much he requested a second one, which really surprised us (his appetite has decreased significantly over the last few years). We bought some a few weeks later at a market, and he gobbled that up too!
